Richard Nicoll SS14 with Revlon

The busiest week in the fashion calendar, London Fashion Week kicked off on Friday. On Saturday night I was luck enough to go backstage at the Richard Nicoll show. I always look forward to Richard Nicoll shows. His looks are always sharp, wearable and effortlessly chic.
I felt extremely lucky to have the chance of meeting Makeup Artist Gucci Westman, Revlon's Global Artistic Director. Gucci Westman described the make up look as The girls need personality and individuality; they’re not meant to be uniformed. It’s quite a lived in look, deconstructed and minimalist. Nothing is precise almost like makeup from the night before.’ I absolutely loved the look due to it's wearability and how easy it was to re-create. I was definitely inspired to try it myself. I also got the chance to meet Revlon's UK Nail ambassador Jenny Longworth and this is how she described the nail look I’m calling this look a ‘veil of pink’, it’s effortless! Just two coats of Pink Nude the look is clean, fresh and understated whilst still being done. It’s super subtle.’ Jenny also mentioned how simple looking nails actually take longer to do than any other design because they have to look fresh, clean and manicured. A simple sleek nail never fails to impress.

The products used to create this look were PhotoReady Skinlights in Bronze, Lash Potion Mascara in Blackest Black, Pink Nude Nail Enamel and PhotoReady Crème Blush in Flushed, all by Revlon

I also got to watch the show which is always the highlight, watching models walk down fully primed and prepped is always inspiring. Here are some of my favourite looks form the show. I especially loved all the sheer layers and pink contrast. So on point. Although Autumn has just begun, I am already looking forward to Spring Summer 2014.

A big thank you to Revlon for having me.
