You all may of gathered from my HK haul video that when I was in HK, I purchased a selection of hairdyes. I am very hard to satisfy when it comes to hair colours, I am picky, I get bored very quick and I am always looking for a quick fix of colour.
To achieve my slightly darker hair colour, which I have been sporting in my latest video, I used the following...
Liese Bubble hair colour in Platinum Beige

The images are pretty self explanatory, you all know by now that I LOVE foam hairdyes. Super duper easy to use and totally fool proof.
This is a little different to the BLYTH dye, The bottle is not a pump, this is a squeezy one. As pictured below, the foam is less thick in comparison the the blythe and their is visible colour.
This was my hair before the process. The annoying thing about my hair is that I like to wash it VERY often, I despise greasy or un-fresh locks and this means my hair colours always fade!
My new darker hair colour, it is VERY ashy, even more ashy in real life, verging but thank god its not into the green zone...
At first I wasn't too keen as it turned my hair darker than I anticipated, but it is VERY true to colour. I personally now love this colour and I would happily say that this is better than the BLYTHE colour. The colour is very true to what is advertised/pictured on the box and I am looking forward to trying other colours. Hopefully, being darker, this colour won't fade as much as my previous colours.
Have you tried this hairdye brand? whats your thoughts?
Nice colour ;)
ReplyDeleteI love how your hair gets so nice ash brown, even though I tried ash-colourings, my hair turns more to the orange side..
ReplyDeleteReally need to try asian brands *-*
I love Liese =] Never used to be able to dye my own hair but now I can! ^^ the ashy colour is nice on you =] I might try the ash brown next time
ReplyDeletepretty color!!
ReplyDeleteWow this colour is so lovely :) and it doesn't look like it's stripped your hair either! Need to try this sometime :) Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteX
ohhh dear, you have wonderful hair! <3 I love the color before and after, it's fantastic! Plus you hair looks super healthy.
ReplyDeleteI think it looks absolutely gorgeous :'D
ReplyDeleteI realized its not as foamy as the prettia brand!! I LOVE youre hair colour! I might try it out since I LOVE ashy hair colour and I always can never manage to get it!1
ReplyDeleteNiceeee. :) x
ReplyDeleteI really want to try foam hair dye! The color looks so gorgeous, I love that it gave you the same color. I hate when I purchase hair dyes and the color is completely different... I used one from L'Oreal I believe, which was supposed to make my hair a lighter brown, and it ended up being SUPER dark. Whut? o_o'
ReplyDeletei love both before and after photos! haha. your hair looks great! i love prettia/liese hair dye, its so easy to use. :)
ReplyDeletebtw, did u shake the bottle? cause a lot of bubbles formed in there causing the dye to be runny. try mixing agent 1 and 2 using "see-saw" motion next time and your dye will be more foamy. :)
I LOVE all your hair colors!!! i really want to dye my hair an ashy brown too! but i have black hair and i havent dyed my hair before! if i want it your color, would i be able to achieve it using the brown colored dye? or would i have to dye it a ashy blonde to be able to achieve the brown color since i have dark hair? i rember you talking about it before in one of your videos.... do you have any advice for me? thankyou!
ReplyDeleteI used the Japanese version of this, Kao Prettia, which is exactly the same thing, according to the eBay seller haha
ReplyDeleteI bought Royal Brown. I had virgin black hair before this and so I really should have gone for a lighter colour, but I didn't want a sudden drastic change. Turns out, it didn't have any effect on my hair dang it! Although I like to believe that when I stand in the sun, there's a brownish colour hehe
Loveee the new color! I'm hoping the dye I'm using this week works out like that >__<
ReplyDeleteYou shake too hard and the bubble form inside the bottle.
ReplyDeleteohhh this didn't work on my roots! how did u manage that??
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeletethat new color is really pretty ^^
your new hair color is very pretty. i must try that brand.
ReplyDeleteif you tend to wash your hair often, maybe you should try Wen. it's a conditioning hair cleanser. it doesn't foam so it may feel funny when you first use it but it makes your hair so soft and shiny. also your hair doesn't get oily or greasy so soon.
do you think this will work if your hair has been dyed previously but has grown out n there is a distinct difference from roots to dyed hair? ie. dark black roots light/medium brown dyed hair.
ReplyDeleteTried the same colour, it's one of the newer shade they come up with. Coverage is superb and the colour is really nice. :)
ReplyDeletehow many boxes did you use?
ReplyDeletethis colour looks super gorgeous, I really want to try this brand when i go to HK :)
ReplyDeleteI love this color, I've used it 3 times now..loving it..first time I have my hair dyed so I'm very happy about it.
ReplyDeleteAlso, the ashy color --> love! ;)
did you used one bottle or 2? i have a long hair and im afraid it wont be enough to just use one bottle.
ReplyDeleteHi Suzy, how many box did you use? :)
ReplyDeleteI've used this brand before. But I think you're not suppose to shake it till there's foam produced. It's supposed to be liquid in the bottle, when squeeze out, then you'll get the thick and nice foam like what the picture shown. ^^
ReplyDeleteDo you think it will work on virgin black hair?
ReplyDeletehave you tried dariya pala is it comparable to liese
